Denise Ricci’s Salsa

Six large, ripe tomatoes

1 bunch cilantro

Three very very hot peppers

Any hot sauce hanging around

Dash of cumin

Salt

Cut tomatoes into small cubes about the size of regular M&Ms. 

Coarsely chop cilantro.

Chop hot peppers, remembering not to touch your face (especially eyes!!) before you wash your hands.

Mix together, dumping in whatever you found in the fridge for hot sauce.

Add salt and cumin.  Mix well, but gently.

Serve  at all parties with tortilla chips and beer by the case.

(N.B.  Serve immediately.  Improperly canned salsa will explode in the fridge and therefore doesn’t make a very good gift)
