Two pieces of white bread, lightly buttered
Three slices of American cheese
Chopped tomato (three slices chopped up)
Clean the grill with a glass of seltzer.
Scrape off all the junk from sandwiches and hamburgers before into the grease trap—use a metal spatula for this
Place bread on hot, greased grill, buttered side down.
Put a slice of cheese on each side.
Top one slice with tomato, then put third slice of cheese on top.
Put sides together and flip once or twice until golden brown.
Serve when cheese begins to melt down the side of the bread.
Cut in half on the diagonal with the spatula. Serve with a smile while smoothing out your apron.

But that never happened and it all just fell apart. I visited it in 2012 and I remembered every minute of every day I spent there, even as nature ate the buildings and the pools and the volleyball courts.
